New, strengthened conditions for you who work as a umbrella-employed worker
On March 5th, the different steps you take to bill for your assignments changed. We strive to strengthen the working conditions for those who work on an assignment basis and therefore have a continuous dialogue with the labor market partners to improve the process for umbrella-employed workers.

The changes mean that you must register the assignment before starting the work. You can then send as many invoices as you want within the registered assignment period.
How do I continue to work as a umbrella-employed worker? Just as before, you log in to frilansfinans.no to invoice without having your own company.
1. You register the assignment in our "Register assignment" tool before starting your work.
2. After the registered assignment has been examined and approved, you will receive a message that it is ready and that you can begin work.
3. When the work is finished, you create the invoice quickly and easily because the assignment is already registered on your pages at frilansfinans.no. You can register as many invoices as you want within the registered assignment period. Please note that the invoice must be created as soon as possible and no later than 30 days after the end of the calendar month in which you performed the work.
The changed process strengthens several important rights for you, here we list some:
° Guaranteed salary and payment date (provided you have used Frilans Finans' standard assignment agreement)
° Right to sickness benefit
° Right to unemployment benefit
° Personal adviser and advice throughout the assignment
The new process will come into force on 5 March 2024
